Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member for our Cedar Knolls, NJ store. This part-time role focuses on friendly customer service, checkout accuracy, and merchandise recovery to keep the store inviting and in-stock.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing purchases, stocking merchandise, and supporting omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. Applicants must be 16+ and able tostand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling to standards.
• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, maintain planograms and store recovery.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Complete SISO and AD set duties; support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain a positive, respectful store environment.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
