Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store teammate in Merritt Island, FL to assist customers, run a fast checkout, and support omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS. You will help maintain stock, participate in truck unloads, and keep the store well-merchandised.

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred. The role involves lifting and standing, with hours including nights and weekends. Michaels offers benefits and employee discounts to team members.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires team members to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and the go-back process; maintain in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies and standards.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote the organization’s values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
