Job summary

Michaels in Irving, TX is hiring for a customer service-focused team member. You will help customers locate products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, manage returns, and support Omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store while maintaining in-stock conditions.

Prior retail experience preferred. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights, weekends

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise return/go-back process to keep store in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
