Michaels is hiring at the NEWBURGH, NY store to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products. You’ll help at the checkout, process cash transactions, and engage customers in rewards programs. You’ll also participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised store.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings. A strong retail mindset and teamwork are important to succeed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move items as needed.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Support truck unloading, stocking, planograms and store recovery.
