Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association’s Alder Creek Café seeks a dependable custodian to keep the cafe and adjacent spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll perform daily cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and help maintain restroom areas while ensuring customer service excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly spaces; mop, dust, sanitize surfaces.
• Restock paper and soap dispensers; sanitize restrooms.
• Clean glass surfaces, windows, sinks, and counters.
• Monitor janitorial supplies and report damages to supervisor.
• Assist with snow removal from walkways and entrances.
• Report major damages and repairs as needed.

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for a hard-working and personable Alder Creek Café Custodian to join our Alder Creek Adventure Center Team! The Alder Creek Café Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned areas in clean, orderly and safe condition using custodial equipment, cleaning supplies, and light maintenance activities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvides excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners.Perform routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule created by the location Manager.Use of appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior of the facility looking clean and professional.Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.Dust and wet mop all floors in all areas and in restroom areas.Dust, clean, and sanitize all counter tops, window ledges and horizontal surfaces in public areas and offices.Ensure paper and soap dispensers are fully stocked and functional.Clean glass surfaces and windows.Clean and sanitize all sinks and toilet basins.Monitor janitorial supply inventory, and orders, as needed per established procurement guidelines.Maintain janitorial equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized fashion.Empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling.Report major damages and repairs to supervisor.Performs other cleaning duties as needed and/or instructed by supervisor/manager.Assists with snow removal including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways, equipment and other areas as necessary.We have seasonal opportunities available!To view the complete job description, please click HERE!!We offer competitive starting pay based on experience and availability, performance-based advancement, use of Tahoe Donner Association Amenities, free gym membership at Trout Creek Recreation Center, food & beverage discounts and retail discounts!It's all happening HERE at Tahoe Donner Association!
