Job summary

Tahoe Donner is seeking a seasonal maintenance worker to join our outdoor team in Truckee, CA. The role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, grounds care, and cleaning to keep our facilities in top condition.

You will help with small repairs, landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, and seasonal property upkeep. Applicants should be prepared for physical outdoor work, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a year of heavy manual labor experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of heavy manual work experience or related field.
• Valid Class C Driver License required.
• Willingness to work holidays and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks: painting, carpentry, minor plumbing, and minor HVAC work.
• Maintain grounds: mulching, raking, mowing, irrigation work, trash collection and snow removal.
• Conduct cleaning activities: dusting, scrubbing, mopping and trash removal.
• Complete regular preventative maintenance and seasonal facility upkeep.
• Assist with capital projects and safety procedures on site.

This hands-on role includes a variety of maintenance and groundskeeping tasks, from basic repairs, painting, and cleaning to landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, and seasonal property upkeep. You’ll also support special projects and facility improvements while working safely and as part of a team.
