Job summary

Tahoe Donner is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance team member in Truckee, CA 96161. The role involves a variety of maintenance and groundskeeping tasks, including painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep of properties.

Schedule is Saturday to Wednesday. You will support special projects, perform safety‑conscious work, and contribute to a team that keeps facilities and grounds in top condition.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of heavy manual work experience or equivalent.
• Requires a valid Class C Driver License.
• Willingness to work holidays and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, and minor HVAC work.
• Maintain grounds including mulching, raking, sweeping, shoveling, digging, planting, watering, mowing, irrigation upkeep, trash collection and snow removal.
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, scrubbing, mopping, and trash removal.
• Complete regular preventative maintenance like replacing light bulbs.
• Perform seasonal facility maintenance such as moving furniture, gutter cleaning, storing seasonal assets and cleaning.
• Set up and break down capital job projects with proper safety and equipment usage.

This position is responsible for performing semi-skilled and skilled tasks in maintaining and repairing association buildings, facilities, and equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to; painting, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, and minor HVAC work.
• Maintain grounds, including mulching, raking, sweeping, shoveling, digging, planting, dust blowing/mitigation, mowing lawn, repairing drip irrigation supply lines and emitters, collecting trash, snow removal and other ground duties.
• Perform cleaning activities, such as dusting, scrubbing, mopping, and trash removal.
• Complete regular preventative maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs.
• Perform seasonal facility maintenance, including moving furniture, installing windscreens, gutter, downspout cleanout, storing seasonal assets, and cleaning.
• Set up and break down capital job projects, ensuring the use of basic safety rules, appropriate equipment, and proper work techniques.

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Requires possession of a valid Class C Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the Association insurance carrier.
