Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of presenting class materials.
• Criminal background clearance and current CPR and First Aid certifications required.

• Previous teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop all lesson plans and activities for each class.
• Provide instruction in assigned topics.
• Supervise arrival and dismissal of participants.
• Maintain a safe learning environment and supervise participants at all times.
• Communicate with parents regarding class progress and safety.
• Arrive early to set up and stay until participants are picked up.
• Follow the park district's safety procedures and report incidents.
