DEKALB PARK DISTRICT IL is seeking an Early Childhood Program Instructor (Part-Time) in DeKalb, IL. You will plan and lead activities for children aged infant to about 5 years, ensuring a safe, engaging environment and alignment with program goals.

The role requires a High School diploma, 18+ years old, and Pediatric CPR/AED plus First Aid certifications, along with Mandated Reporter training. Light supervision and record-keeping duties apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be certified in Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Must be a certified Mandated Reporter, or obtain certification within two months.
• Experience working with young children is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the organization, supervision, and implementation of early childhood activities.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities aligned with program goals.
• Supervise children to ensure safety, engagement and positive participation.
• Lead activities promoting early learning, motor skills and language development.
• Maintain attendance, incident reports and other required documentation.
• Interact professionally with participants, parents/guardians and staff.
