Mohonk in New Paltz, NY seeks a Culinary Extern for Winter/Spring 2027 (15 weeks). You will assist in preparation and production of wholesome meals, following company standards and health regulations.

Responsibilities include completing designated prep workloads, processing on-line production, maintaining station cleanliness, and supporting service staff. Candidates should have 1–2 years culinary experience and be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• 1–2 years culinary experience in similar operation.
• Familiar with basic knife handling skills and basic kitchen equipment.
• Certified in food service sanitation practices and prevention of food borne illnesses.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and produce wholesome meals per company standards and health regulations.
• Accomplish designated prep workload for each meal period.
• Execute online production of meal period.
• Maintain cost awareness and minimize waste.
• Clean and sanitize stations after each shift and at end of shift.
• Verify daily work, recipes, and notebooks.
• Assist service staff and maintain guest service quality.
