Description

InterHealth is currently hiring for 13-week contracts with higher base pay, shift differentials, and benefits available for purchase. Opportunities for full-time or part-time conversions and contract extensions are available depending on team coverage. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in the specific division and be deemed competent to work independently.

Responsibilities

1. Perform Computed Tomography Imaging following established protocols for various age groups, with minimal supervision.
2. Perform additional procedures such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, extremity and chest X-rays, biopsies, drainage, trauma alerts, and advanced CT protocols including Neuro and Cardiovascular CTAs.
3. Operate independent workstations, demonstrate proficiency in IV skills, QA maintenance, and sterile contrast studies, applying advanced CT principles with judgment and initiative.
4. Take responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
5. Serve as a resource, assist with scheduling, policy development, QA programs, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
6. Assist in orienting, evaluating, and assigning work to staff members.
7. Assess and address the age-specific needs of patients.
8. Perform job duties aligned with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CT diagnostic imaging department.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (RT), Nuclear Medicine (NM), or Radiography (R).
• Certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• CT Registry required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
