Qualifications

• Completion of a 2+ year Radiologic Technologist program in an AMA-approved school.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification required.

Job Description - Seasonal CT Technologist - Nights (250001QC)

Position: Seasonal CT Technologist - Nights - (250001QC)

We offer a range of positions from permanent clinical float roles (full-time or part-time) to seasonal 13-week assignments with higher pay. Responsibilities:

1. Perform Computed Tomography procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
2. Operate independently on a variety of procedures including portable, fluoroscopy, extremity and chest x-rays, biopsies, drainage, trauma alerts, core CT, advanced reconstructions, neurovascular CTA, IV skills, and QA maintenance.
3. Assist management with policy implementation, participate in interdepartmental committees, and serve as a department preceptor.
4. Use independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative when utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
5. Perform duties aligned with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
6. Follow all ACR guidelines and maintain proper radiation dosages for patients.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of a 2+ year Radiologic Technologist program in an AMA-approved school.
2. At least one year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
3. Knowledge of CT equipment and procedures.
4. Additional on-the-job training provided.
5. ARRT certification; BLS certification.
6. Registered in CT within 6 months of employment.
7. Florida state license required.

Location & Schedule:

• Primary Location: TGH Spring Hill, 10461 Quality Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609
• Work Location: On-site
• Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday to Saturday, Night shifts (Wed-Fri 10 PM - 7 AM, Sat 7 PM - 7 AM)
