Qualifications

AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year. The hospital hosts the AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research, caring for Tampa Bay’s hearts for over 35 years. The Kiran C. Patel Research Institute at AdventHealth Tampa leads in clinical and academic research in neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, and advanced surgery, contributing to future cures for conditions like heart failure and cancer.

The role you’ll contribute:

Radiologic Technologists perform Radiographic Examinations to create images for diagnosis. They combine scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality care and diagnostic information. Maintaining high accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques is essential. They prepare for and assist Radiologists in intricate examinations.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • High School education or equivalent and graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • State of Florida Radiologic License
  • ARRT Registration
  • CPR and BLS certification
