Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a fast-paced, detail-oriented seasonal bartender to join Reindeer Alley - Hotel Cleveland, a premier craft speakeasy Holiday Bar. You will craft cocktails and pour beer for both bar and dining room while delivering friendly, attentive service.

Greet guests promptly, present menus, upsell drinks and food, handle orders and payments, and maintain bar stock and cleanliness. Knowledge of wines and house cocktails is essential to create a welcoming guest experience that

Qualifications

Must be age 21 or above.
Outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
Knowledge of wine and beverage brand selections, drink garnishes, prices, etc.
Comprehensive knowledge of house cocktails, ingredients and techniques.
Able to confidently make food and beverage pairing recommendations.

Responsibilities

Observe customers as they enter the bar area, greet promptly and seat guests.
Present drink menus, make recommendations, take beverage orders and upsell items.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with standard recipes.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and drinks.
Record drink orders accurately into the POS system and handle payments.
Maintain bar stock and cleanliness; restock as needed.
