Job summary

Destination Death Valley LLC is hiring a cook at Stovepipe Wells Village in Death Valley National Park. You will perform kitchen duties for Stovepipe Wells eateries as part of a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented operation.

Responsibilities include taking direction from F&B management, keeping areas clean and properly labeled, stocking supplies, and ensuring food safety and hand hygiene per CA standards. On-site housing is available and you may work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have CA Food Handlers Certification Card.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Death Valley National Park.
• Ability to follow kitchen requirements and concessions contract.
• Ability to get along with people, be honest, punctual and reliable.
• Ability to remain calm and friendly.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from F&B Management team.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas with proper labeling and storage per CA standards.
• Stock and organize supplies and items in the kitchen.
• Complete all food safety checks and handwashing protocols.
• Be friendly and helpful with servers and guests.
• Be prepared to learn and accept new responsibilities.
