The Edgewater Hotel in Seattle is seeking a Seasonal, Part-Time Cook to join our team. At Six | Seven Restaurant, our menu features seasonally inspired cuisine crafted with only the freshest and finest organic and naturally raised ingredients.

The Cook will be responsible for the preparation and execution of items on the Six|Seven lounge menu, as well as seasonal seafood and meats according to recipes. Key responsibilities include grill, broil, saute, soups, salads, vinaigrette.

Qualifications

• Breakfast experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to work well in a team and learn quickly.
• Experience in fine dining atmosphere and high-volume service.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation rules.
• Strong knife skills.
• A culinary graduate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate items for the Six|Seven lounge menu and seasonal specials.
• Cook seafood and meats according to recipes and standards.
• Handle grill, broil, saute, soups, salads, and vinaigrettes with consistency.
• Maintain plating standards and flavor profiles while meeting ticket times.
