Fisher Island Club in Fisher Island, FL is seeking a Cook I - Seasonal to join our upscale culinary team. The position involves preparing, cooking, and plating across multiple stations, delivering high-quality dishes in a resort setting with exceptional guest experience.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 3 years of culinary experience, English communication skills, basic math ability, and must pass a cooking demo.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• 3 years' experience in the culinary field.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Must pass with satisfactory results, a cooking demo for the chef.
• Culinary college degree.
• Sanitation Certificate.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up, and provide quality service in all areas of food production.
• Follow the established recipe and plating guide provided to the exact specification.
• Maintain and organize the station and equipment to meet Chef's expectations.
• Maintain a positive work environment and communicate with Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
• Ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen and support kitchen team.
