Job summary

Appalachia Service Project Inc is hiring a cook to prepare hot meals for up to 120 volunteers each week during our Summer program and into the Fall at our new Appalachian Highlands Center in Johnson City, TN. This temporary position offers flexible hours and requires food preparation experience.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have a satisfactory background check, and demonstrate respect and collaboration. The pay starts at $12.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Satisfactory background check and driving record required.
• Desire to work in a Christian environment.
• Ability to prepare meals for 77-120 people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-planned meals for volunteers.
