Job summary

Oaklawn is seeking Seasonal Cooks for its Jockey Club, Main Kitchen, Post Parade, Carousel, Track Kitchen and concessional outlets. The role involves preparing, cooking, stocking, and maintaining clean kitchens while delivering exceptional guest service across venues.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of commercial cooking and guest service experience, can multitask, and follow health and safety regulations. Flexibility to work varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial cooking experience.
• At least 1 year of guest service experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of F&B team members.
• Ability to interact with guests and staff and resolve conflicts diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Prep, cook, store, rotate stock, and maintain clean kitchens per recipes.
• Provide friendly, professional guest service.
• Communicate with Chefs and manage food storage levels.
• Ensure venues are ready to open on time and comply with safety regs.
