Job summary

The Salvation Army Orrville-Maiwurm Service Center in Orrville, OH is seeking a compassionate Christmas Coordinator to lead and support our annual holiday programs. This part-time role emphasizes volunteer coordination, donor relations, and program administration during the busy season.

You will help manage the Red Kettle Campaign, Angel Tree, and Christmas Food Box programs, ensuring smooth operations from October through December 24, 2026.

Qualifications

• Customer service, volunteer coordination, scheduling, or administrative experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, schedule, and communicate with volunteer bell ringers.
• Coordinate volunteer coverage for multiple kettle locations.
• Deliver, monitor, and retrieve kettle supplies.
• Respond to inquiries from volunteers and community groups.
• Assist with the Angel Tree and Christmas Food Box programs.
• Support donor relationships and donation collection efforts.
• Participate in client intake and program administration.
• Help organize and facilitate distribution events.
• Maintain accurate schedules and records.
• Coordinate logistics for holiday programs.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and cleanup.
• Support the Service Center Director with additional seasonal needs.
