Job summary

The Salvation Army in Columbus is seeking a temporary, non-exempt position to support the annual Christmas Campaign. The role involves coordinating volunteers, coordinating community partnerships, donor engagement activities, and managing toy drives and events throughout Central Ohio.

Hours vary between 8:30 am–5:00 pm, 29–40 hours per week, October 1–December 24, 2026. Salary is $23.00 per hour and requires flexibility, organizational skills, and a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of volunteers and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced seasonal environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during the Christmas season.
• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army's mission and ministry.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
