Rotational schedule with Brooks Camp lodging during shifts. Prior CDL driving experience, safety mindset, and ability to work in extreme cold are essential. This role supports North Slope operations with strong teamwork and compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Experience operating tractor trailers and maneuvering in yards
• Waste hauling/hostling or North Slope driving experience preferred
• Must meet FMCSA driver qualification requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles in support of Solid Waste operations
• Move and position trailers, containers, and equipment throughout designated yards and work areas
• Perform hostling duties to position trailers and equipment safely and efficiently
• Operate waste collection vehicles and other assigned equipment
• Pickup, transport, and deliver solid waste and materials as required
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment
• Identify and report maintenance, mechanical, and safety concerns
• Secure loads and equipment in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Complete required logs, inspection reports, and other documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, customers, and team members
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Work safely in extreme cold, snow, wind, reduced visibility, and changing conditions
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support Colville operations
