Job summary

Colville, Inc. is seeking an experienced Seasonal CDL Driver for our Solid Waste operations in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This role involves safely collecting, transporting, and handling solid waste under extreme Arctic conditions on a rotational schedule while staying at Brooks Camp.

You will operate tractor trailers and other commercial vehicles, perform thorough inspections, and ensure loads are secured in compliance with DOT regulations. Strong safety focus and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial Class A driving experience.
• Experience operating tractor trailers and other commercial vehicles.
• Must meet FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
• Ability to work extended shifts in a rotational environment.
• Ability to work in Arctic weather and changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles for solid waste collection and transport.
• Collect and deliver solid waste to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Secure loads and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas.
• Complete required driver logs and documentation accurately.
