What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

  • Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
  • Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
  • Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate role may include positions such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All roles support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Each role has specific key responsibilities, for example:

  • Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
  • Distributing and stocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
  • Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
  • Assisting with shopping needs (CSA Sales Floor)
  • Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and seasonal associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles depending on hiring needs.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel to meetings, training, or support for neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

  • Hourly Seasonal: Typically scheduled for 10 to 40 hours, with potential for more based on store needs.
  • Availability: Must be available any day of the week for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Receiver/Stocker roles require late evening, night-time, and early morning availability.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
  • Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance (except CSA Front End), and over 25 pounds with assistance if needed. For CSA Front End, minimum lift is 10 pounds without assistance, over 10 with assistance.

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
  • CSAs (Loader, Front-End, Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information) and a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, tablet).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment.
  • CSAs: 6 months of retail experience including customer service, product knowledge, and resolving customer issues.

If required by local law, candidates must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
