What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End. These roles are typically temporary. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, which includes greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Distributing and stocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting with shopping needs (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to assist with other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Generally scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required.
• Availability: Must be available in the morning, afternoon, and evening any day of the week. Receiver/Stocker role requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Lifting requirements: at least 25 pounds without assistance; may lift more with assistance (except CSA Front End).
• For CSA Front End, minimum lifting is 10 pounds without assistance, with the possibility of lifting more.

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience with computer use and handheld devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of forklift/power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience involving customer service, product knowledge, and issue resolution.

If required by local law, applicants must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
