What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All roles support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, and loading merchandise. Specific duties vary by role:

• Assembler: assembling merchandise
• Receiver/Stocker: distributing and stocking merchandise
• CSA Loader: loading merchandise for customers
• CSA Sales Floor: assisting shoppers
• CSA Front End: processing sales and returns

This list is not exhaustive; associates may be asked to assist with other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or support to neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Part-time hours generally ranging from 10 to 40 hours, with potential for more.
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker role requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Lifting requirements: at least 25 pounds without assistance (except CSA Front End), and 10 pounds without assistance (only CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs: 6 months of experience with computers and handheld devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months operating forklift/power equipment.
• CSAs: 6 months retail experience involving customer service, product knowledge, and problem resolution.

If required by state or local law, applicants must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
