What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role:

• Assembler: assembling merchandise
• Receiver/Stocker: distributing and stocking merchandise
• CSA Loader: loading merchandise for customers
• CSA Sales Floor: assisting with shopping needs
• CSA Front End: processing sales and returns

This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or support to neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: generally scheduled 10 to 40 hours; more hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability: morning, afternoon, and evening any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Minimum lifting requirements: 25 pounds (may lift over with assistance) for most roles; 10 pounds (may lift over with assistance) for CSA Front End.

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs: 6 months of experience with computers and handheld devices for data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of forklift/power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience, including customer interaction, product knowledge, and problem resolution.

Note: If a license is required by local regulations, you must obtain it within 60 days of employment.
