Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong people management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience supervising a union workforce.
• Food manufacturing background with GMPs and food safety knowledge.
• Bachelor degree in food science, engineering, business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production staff and manage forepersons’ performance.
• Assist in inventory planning, scheduling, and ensuring on-time production.
• Coordinate shifts and scheduling using the scheduling systems (ROSS).
• Monitor production quality and packaging, and enforce SOPs.
• Support safety and GMP compliance and lead by example.
• Participate in special projects and drive process improvements.
