Job summary

Barnes & Noble College seeks Seasonal Campus Store Team Members to deliver an exceptional retail experience at our campus stores. You will greet customers, assist with materials and merchandise, and ensure a welcoming, organized shopping environment.

Working with store leaders and teammates, you will handle sales transactions, restock shelves, and support daily operations during peak academic periods, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable and able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Help customers find course materials, school supplies, apparel, and more.
• Operate POS system to process transactions.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Develop product knowledge about merchandise and store services.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming store environment.
