Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Seasonal Campus Store Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain an organized sales floor on campus locations.

You will help customers locate course materials, handle transactions at the register, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and a welcoming campus experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers with locating materials, supplies, and apparel.
• Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
• Develop product knowledge and promote campus services and materials.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a busy store.
