Job summary

Galileo Learning is seeking a Camp Director to open and operate a Camp Galileo site, leading a seasonal team of educators and staff to deliver joyful, safe, high-quality camp experiences for K–8 students.

You will ensure strong camper and family experiences, uphold program quality, and act as the public face of Galileo in the community while coordinating with the Field Program Manager and partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting.
• Experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Ability to meet state requirements to work with children, including mandated screenings and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Open and operate a Camp Galileo location serving campers and families in your community.
• Lead a dynamic seasonal team of educators and entry-level staff.
• Uphold program quality, foster creativity, and deliver excellence in customer care, curriculum, and team leadership.
• Serve as the primary face of camp within the community and communicate with families and partners.
