Galileo Learning is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our K-8 summer camps. You will run a campus as the site's General Manager, manage a dynamic staff, and ensure exceptional camper experiences with strong program quality and customer care.

You will be the public face of the camp in the community, oversee all operations, safety, training, scheduling, and payroll while collaborating with our Field Program Manager to deliver Galileo’s mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven experience creating safe, inclusive environments for children and building trust with families.
• Proven experience setting clear expectations, giving ongoing feedback, and coaching staff to improve.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational details like scheduling, staffing, and payroll.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families, partners, and supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Own all aspects of camp launch, preseason planning, and end-of-summer wrap-up.
• Oversee daily camp operations and parent communications while delivering an exceptional program.
• Lead a seasonal team of educators and entry-level staff to create joyful, safe environments.
• Uphold program quality, foster creativity, and ensure high standards of camper care.
• Train, schedule, and manage payroll and performance for 7–40 staff per site.
• Build community partnerships and serve as the public face of the camp.
