Galileo Learning is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead a Galileo camp, serving as site General Manager and the public face of the organization. You will open and operate a camp location, guide a seasonal team of educators, and ensure joyful, safe, and high-quality camper experiences.

You will manage operations from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up, oversee parent communication, and uphold program quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working directly with students in an education setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven experience creating safe, inclusive environments for children and building trust with families.
• Proven experience setting clear expectations, giving ongoing feedback, and coaching staff to improve.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling, staffing, and payroll.
• Willingness to travel region for up to 3 in-person marketing events in preseason.
• Ability to meet state requirements to work with children, including mandated screenings and first aid/CPR/AED certification.

• Oversee daily camp operations, communication with families, and program quality.

• Train and mentor staff, manage scheduling and payroll, and drive ongoing performance.
