This role requires good communication, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Basic computer skills for order entry or scheduling.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with clean condiments, linens and other items as needed according to restaurant standards and demands of the table seating.
• Restock water, drinks, cereal, bread and other items as prescribed by the Chef.
• Carry dishes, food, silverware and trays from kitchen to serving counters when supply runs low
• Perform janitorial duties such as cleaning workstations, emptying the trash, mopping up spills and sweeping during your shift.
• Pack and scrape dirty dishes, properly arranging them in the correct section of the dish pit for stewarding.
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned.
