Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Cafeteria Attendant to maintain the employee cafeteria with fresh food and a clean atmosphere. The role involves cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setting tables, restocking items, carrying dishes, and performing janitorial duties. Candidates should have a certificate or diploma in Food Preparation and Hygiene and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with clean condiments, linens and other items as needed according to restaurant standards and demands of the table seating.
• Restock water, drinks, cereal, bread and any other items as prescribed by the Chef as necessary throughout your shift.
• Carry dishes, food, silverware and trays from kitchen to serving counters when supply runs low
• Perform janitorial duties such as cleaning workstations, emptying the trash, mopping up spills and sweeping during your shift.
• Pack and scrape dirty dishes, properly arranging them in the correct section of the dish pit for stewarding.
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned.

Position Summary This culinary position requires good communication skills and the ability to lift and carry moderate weight. Food and beverage experience is a plus. This person will be responsible for maintaining the employee cafeteria with fresh food and a clean atmosphere. Providing excellent service, cooking, cleaning, and dishwashing are some of the duties this job entails.
