Job summary

Books-A-Million in Cleveland, TN is seeking an energetic Seasonal Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with questions, orders, and cashiering. You will help merchandise shelves, promote store programs, and maintain a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Applicants should be at least 16 years old, complete necessary background screenings, and be able to stand for extended periods while handling some lifting. Prior cash register experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Successful completion of all required background screenings

Responsibilities

Greet customers, assist with questions and orders, and cashier efficiently.
Promote products and membership, magazine programs, and educator programs.
Balance cash drawer per shift per Loss Prevention Policy.
Restock and merchandise shelves according to guidelines.
Maintain store cleanliness and recover the sales floor.
Protect assets by following loss prevention standards.
Assist in other departments and handle shipments as needed.
