Job summary

Books-A-Million in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Bookseller to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service. You will greet customers, answer questions, assist with orders, and operate the cash register to ensure smooth transactions.

You will promote store programs, help with merchandising, stock shelves, and maintain a neat sales floor. Strong communication, multitasking, and previous retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service by greeting customers and assisting with questions and orders.
• Promote store programs and participate in POS promotions.
• Balance cash drawer within policy.
• Restock and merchandise product on the sales floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with inventory.
• Protect company assets by adhering to loss prevention standards.
