NW Service Enterprises, Inc. (NWS) Professional Assembly in the Omaha area is seeking a part-time Bicycle Assembly Technician to work on-site at local retailers such as Walmart and Kroger, assembling bicycles, toys, barbecues and furniture.

Available work is seasonal with flexible scheduling. Pay transitions to per-piece after training, typically $16–$25 per hour; experienced techs can average around $30/hour. You will never earn less than the local minimum wage.

Qualifications

• Day-shift/early morning availability.
• Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision.
• A mechanical aptitude: you are handy.
• Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver.
• A smartphone and e-mail address.
• Ability to pass a background test.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Reliable transportation.
• Capable of working on your feet for extended periods.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and repair products and merchandise, using manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Check in with Retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory.
• Generate and complete invoices daily.
• Report and communicate effectively with your Area Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area.
