Job summary

Killington Pico Ski Resort in Killington, Vermont, is seeking a Bell Person for the seasonal lodging team. You will greet guests, assist with arrivals and departures, handle luggage, and help guests with parking and directions, delivering a warm, professional first impression.

This hourly, seasonal role offers a flexible schedule, opportunities to cross-train in guest services, and perks such as a season pass for employees and dependents along with various resort discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid US driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to operate a standard transmission vehicle.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional, professional service, including opening doors, unloading and transporting luggage, tagging and storing baggage, and delivering items as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel arrivals and departures, resort activities, restaurants, events, attractions, and local businesses to assist guests.
• Keep bellman closet, ski and bike check, lobby, entrances and parking areas tidy and safe; seasonal tasks may include snow shoveling and salting.
• Assist guests with wheelchairs and other mobility needs in a safe and courteous manner.
• Safeguard guest belongings and maintain security and awareness at all times.
• Operate the courtesy vehicle or other assigned transportation in compliance with laws and policies.
• Maintain open communication across shifts using intershift logs.
• Know and follow hotel emergency procedures, fire systems, information security requirements, and company policies.
• Foster positive relationships with guests and coworkers through professional communication.
• Meet attendance guidelines and complete all required training, safety briefings, and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties may change based on operational needs.
