Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, assist with cashier tasks, and keep fixtures stocked and clean. The role emphasizes service, sales, and participation in in-store events to drive performance.

You will perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations, book appointments, and stay informed about new products to better serve guests. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink reduction.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, answer questions, inform about promotions, and recommend Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new products and communicate benefits to guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
