Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience by engaging customers, performing makeup applications, and guiding purchases. You will handle cashier tasks, stock fixtures, maintain store cleanliness, and assist with in-store events, while staying knowledgeable about products and promotions.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge quickly.

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred.
1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ability to troubleshoot.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging guests, understanding needs, answering questions, and recommending products and/or services.
Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
Book appointments for services and in-store events.
Stay informed about new products and communicate benefits to guests.
Maintain store cleanliness, restock fixtures, and ensure testers are available.
Adhere to store policies, dress code, and loss-prevention practices.
