Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience in-store. You will assist guests, perform makeup applications and skincare analysis, stock fixtures, and support events to drive sales and loyalty programs.

This role requires a passion for beauty, strong customer relationships, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service to their needs, answer questions, inform about promotions, and suggest products or services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver a superior guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new products and services and communicate their benefits to guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
