Recreation Leader I - Basketball Referee in Gig Harbor, WA, is a seasonal role with variable hours up to 79 per month. The position supports youth and adults through youth leagues, camps, clinics, and special events.

You’ll assist with planning, coordination, and supervision under the Recreation Coordinator and help process registrations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or comparable experience) and is motivated to work with/program participants.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of youth and sport programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with participants and staff.
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Safety awareness for children and program activities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning, coordination and supervision of youth activities, camps, events, and classes.
• Support Recreation Coordinator with program registrations and participant communications.
• Prepare program documents and rosters; maintain records.
• Open/close facilities as required; assist with custodial duties.
• Attend trainings and meetings; engage with participants during activities.
