Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a bartender for a seasonal role in Asbury Park, NJ. The position runs September 19–20, 2026 and pays $6.05 per hour with tip eligibility. Responsibilities include serving beverages, upholding guest service standards, and maintaining a clean bar area.

Qualified candidates will have at least six months of bartending experience, a HS diploma or GED, and strong cash handling skills. Flexible availability including nights and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least six months of bartending experience.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Bartending school preferred.
• Accurate cash handling skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Meet the company standard for excellence in guest service and teamwork.
• Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations.
• Learn or know beer, wine varieties & spirits and upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving sizes.
• Check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol.
• Communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management if needed.
• Request additional products or restock as needed.
• Be responsible for the issued bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment.
