Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a seasonal Bartender to serve beverages, maintain a professional demeanor, and work at events from September 18, 2026 to September 20, 2026. The role requires friendly, reliable service and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include following bar menus, upselling, checking IDs, and maintaining a clean workstation. The position offers a short-term schedule with tip eligibility and a $2.13 hourly base rate.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Bartending school preferred.
• Accurate cash handling skills required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state/federal regulations.
• Know various beer, wine varieties & spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
• Check the guest’s ID to verify minimum age for alcohol.
• Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security if needed.
• Contact a management member if unable to resolve beyond standard decision-making.
• Request additional products or restock as needed.
• Be responsible for the issued bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation; ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Other duties may include setting up/breaking down bar equipment and organizing the cooler.
