Job summary

The University of Louisville Golf Club (ULGC) in Simpsonville, KY is hiring Seasonal Bartender/Server to provide exceptional customer service to club members and guests. You will serve food and beverages, create a welcoming atmosphere, and work during restaurant hours and special events.

You will handle orders, payments, daily tasks, bar stocking, garnishes, and ensure compliance with local health codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• H.S Diploma or GED and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Compliant with all local food safety health codes and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments.
• Complete all daily tasks and cleaning schedules assigned by the Manager, Food and Beverage.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation.
• Prep garnishes for drinks, stock bar, and maintain a clean work area.
• Check identification of customers at the bar area to ensure they meet all statutory regulations.
• Work both Private and Club Events.
• Must have good mobility and ability to lift heavy objects; sometimes in excess of 30 pounds.
• Must efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Promote a friendly atmosphere for all Members and guests, as well as coworkers.
• Ensure operations comply with all state and federal laws regarding food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements.
