Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a Taps Bartender to provide timely, courteous service of drinks and food in a fun, fast-paced environment. You will maintain a clean bar, know recipes, and deliver excellent guest care while embracing Schweitzer's hospitality culture.

The position is full-time or part-time seasonal, on-site at Schweitzer Resort, with benefits depending on status. Perks include an employee pass, housing, and discounts, plus standard healthcare options when eligible.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications - Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate; company will help you acquire.
• Technical - Basic computer knowledge and comfortable with a computer based point of sale (Squirrel).
• Physical - Stand or walk up to 10 hours per shift; lift 25lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs.
• Additional - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
• ID guests according to Idaho laws; monitor intoxication and seek help as needed.
• Prepare and serve beverages; pour accurate measurements to minimize waste.
• Keep bar clean and organized; manage glassware, tools, and surfaces per health rules.
• Restock bar inventory including kegs, liquor, mixers, and garnishes.
• Handle cash and credit transactions; operate POS and balance deposits at shift end.
• Maintain a positive, energetic attitude and support servers to create a great guest experience.
