Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a seasonal bartender to craft cocktails from house recipes and provide excellent service to patrons. Must be 21+ with prior craft bar experience. The role starts mid-November and continues through the Winter season in a welcoming mountain setting.

Responsibilities include opening the bar, stock management, accurate pouring to minimize waste, and adherence to Idaho liquor laws. Experience with a POS system is required for efficient service.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications - Idaho TIPS or ABC training (may acquire on the job)
• Food Handlers permit
• AllerTrain allergy certification
• Technical - Utilize POS System
• Physical Capabilities - Standing/walking up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Open bar, count till, open lock ups and prep work
• Inventory/stock product, move kegs, mix drinks, create specials, high guest service
• Ensure minimal waste by proper pours
• ID guests per Idaho liquor laws, monitor intoxication, escalate if needed
• Close bar, complete shift reports, secure deposits
• Maintain bar/restaurant presentation and multitask
• Communicate inventory needs to manager
