Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a seasonal Taps Bartender at Schweitzer in Idaho. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, uphold safety and quality standards, and maintain a inviting bar area. Responsabilidades

• ID guests per Idaho liquor laws and maintain responsible service.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes, minimize waste.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock, including glassware and tools.
• Restock inventory (kegs, liquor, mixers, garnishes) as needed.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and operate POS efficiently.
• Turn in accurate deposits with end-of-shift reports.
• Maintain upbeat, energetic attitude with guests and coworkers.
• Collaborate with servers to support team service.

Position Summary

Taps Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. They ensure a clean and well-stocked bar, maintain knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment, and provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience. Positive, outgoing, and energetic individuals who are willing to learn, practice and exemplify the Schweitzer culture of hospitality and teamwork while working in a fun, fast paced adult venue serving alcoholic beverages, and food.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

• Customer service, greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations while ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Thorough knowledge of our menu is critical.
• ID guests in accordance to Idaho state liquor and identification laws.
• Monitor guest intoxication and take action or get help, if necessary.
• Prepare and serve beverages, mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes or customer specifications. Responsible for ensuring minimal waste by pouring correct measurements.
• Maintain cleanliness by keeping the bar area clean and organized, including glassware, tools, and surfaces, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and restock bar inventory such as kegs, liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed.
• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Turn in accurate deposits with end of shift reports.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude toward guests and coworkers.
• Assists teammates whenever able and develops a good partnership with the servers.

Specific Job Skills

• License/Certifications- Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate, we will help you acquire.
• Technical- Basic computer knowledge and comfortable with a computer based point of sale (Squirrel is our current system).
• Physical Capabilities- Able to stand or walk for up to 10 hours per shift. Will lift 25lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Additional- Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Related Experience

Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.

Minimum time in related position- Minimum 2 years bartending experience with demonstrated competence; beer knowledge required and wine knowledge preferred with demonstrated competence.
