Job summary

The Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton is seeking friendly, dependable bartenders to join our team during the busy holiday season. This position will primarily work in the Food Haus during the Silverton Christmas Market, serving beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages in a fast-paced, festive environment.

This seasonal role is expected to run through approximately January 4, 2027. Evening shifts are common, with weekend and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• OLCC Server Permit and Oregon Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately.
• Provide friendly, efficient service while managing busy guest lines.
• Check IDs and follow OLCC regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Keep bar and service areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with restocking supplies, inventory, setup, and closing duties.
• Work closely with other food and beverage staff to keep service running smoothly.

This seasonal position is expected to run through approximately January 4, 2027.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately
• Provide friendly, efficient service while managing busy guest lines
• Check IDs and follow OLCC regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Keep bar and service areas clean, organized, and stocked
• Assist with restocking supplies, inventory, setup, and closing duties
• Work closely with other food and beverage staff to keep service running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid OLCC Server Permit and Oregon Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain both before starting
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Schedule & Compensation

• Seasonal employment through approximately January 4, 2027
• Primarily evening shifts during the Silverton Christmas Market
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Hourly wage plus tips
